Reppin area code 828 is Produk, Marquis White found himself at the age of twelve as a diamond in the rough. Applying this experience an emotion, he is now able to express them lyrically. At the age of fifteen he was placed between a rock and a hard place. Marquis was given the opportunity to leave New York and a better life but at the same time he was forced with leaving his mother. It was another road for him to travel in becoming a man. It gave him more to rap about and it strengthened his hunger for greatness. In traveling this road, he went through a lot dealing with the circumstances of his past and trying to build his future. In doing so, he became PRODUK.

His style consists of raw lyrics along with a delivery that is unmatchable. Produk uses a rhyme scheme of which you cannot place a label on because it switches so much. His lyrics contain fact-based knowledge, creativity, and skills. Produk focuses mostly on his strive to be the best as a direction for his music rather than just throwing stuff together and calling it a song. Working with producers C4 and Jeffery "Miami" Richardson, Produk put together and unfinished project titled "Produk of Society". Moving on his own after a while, Produk began to work on his first finished project titled "Real Audio". Produk kept in mind through the making of this album that it was strictly for the streets. He wanted people to recognize him for his trademark of hard punch lines and logical metaphors in which he mixes with the state of mind of a hungry Brooklyn native.

Produk is not just a rapper; he is an all around artist. He is prepared to win the hearts of many, and earn respect from all. Music is his door to other forms of business. Produk is currently in school Majoring in Business Administration and shall be receiving his degree in the fall of 2004. He has a future full of treasures.
