Blaque
Watch is a solo artist whose mission is to create a futuristic
sound, and script using horrific and heroic images. Blaque Watch
fuses his worldly, street, and biblical influences to create music.
His debut album entitled Street Politics is revelation, and will
definitely make a statement to the Hip-Hop world!
Derrick
L. Barginere, a.k.a. Blaque Watch, inherited a smooth, rugged,
and lyrical style from his observations and experiences in Fayetteville,
North Carolina. When asked about the name or concept, Blaque Watch,
he replied, "Blaque represents the Self in all people, or the
source of all things in existence. "Out of the darkness came the
light." Watch represents life, observations, and experience. The
Street Politics album illustrates that Blaque Watch is both a
student and disciple of Hip-Hop culture and music.
Blaque
Watch considers himself an Original Rapper; a MC who displays
keen skills in verse, lyrics, and rhyme style. The Street Politics
album embodies all the elements of pure Hip-Hop: Raw beats, cuts,
lyrics, and style versatility.
The
Blaque Watch sound unquestionably has universal appeal, but occasionally
he takes the mainstream audience on an odyssey underground only
to resurface. "Body Rock," "Get it Down," "Luv to Hate," and "Driven"
are the first singles off the Street Politics debut album. Look
